Case Study 9

As the driver of a heavy goods vehicle it is essential that you have a good understanding of road traffic law and health and safety regulations.
Today you are delivering to a mix of town centre shops, and shops in small villages. You are driving a lorry of over 7.5 tons gross weight and most of the roads in the town centres are very busy making it difficult to find a parking space for unloading.
The goods you are carrying are packed in cages and the vehicle is fitted with an electric tailboard lift.
Most of the drop off points are not known to you as you are relatively new to the job.

There are 7 multiple choice questions in this case study. Read this carefully and ensure you fully understand the scenario before starting the test. You need to score 6 out of 7 to pass.
